Welcome to Casa Hogar. This small and humble trailer is represents a much-needed refuge for the 36+ young women who live here. Ages 6 - 18, they have no family, no means to support themselves financially, and a rapidly declining access to life's basic necessities including food, shelter, and safety.
In Mexico, orphanages like Casa Hogar are privately run and rely heavily on donations and volunteers to operate. With the pandemic ever present, such assistance has dropped tremendously. However, our team is constantly brainstorming solutions to help innovate and improve the quality of life for all who call Casa Hogar home. Every body deserves a chance to create a solid foundation that will serve them for the rest of their lives, and it's time to start leveling the playing field.
