In Mexico, orphanages like Casa Hogar are privately run and rely heavily on donations and volunteers to operate. With the pandemic ever present, such assistance has dropped tremendously. But there is still hope for the young women ages 6 - 18 who live here... YOU!
Future Generations Now has partnered with The Branch of Almond Tree to coordinate programs, volunteers, and shipments of much needed supplies to young women of Ensenada orphanage. Although registered with the government, they receive little to no financial support from the state. Mexico is currently under lockdown and no outside volunteers are permitted across the border, but care packages containing essential items and gifts are still underway with a planned delivery for Holiday 2020!
If you - or your company - would like to contribute to this care package, please view the list of needed items and drop us a line via the form below, or by directly email firstname.lastname@example.org! Monetary donations are also encouraged, as they will cover expenses for purchasing items like toiletries, food, water, and the shipping/ transport of those items across the border.
Thank you for thinking about those involved in this effort. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and improve conditions at Ensenada Orphanage.
