The Wonderland Community Center Cosmetology program provides students with the essential skills needed to gain entry-level work in the hair and beauty industry. Working with a range of sponsors and licensed professionals, students can look forward to working with real-world materials while learning through hands-on experience!

Typical enrollment includes up to 9 months of learning activities led by Wonderland Beauticians (licensed volunteers). Students can expect to focus and gain knowledge within a variety of topics including hairstyling, hair coloring, haircutting, chemical techniques, make-up, skin care, and all phases of nail technology.

Training in accordance to Mexico’s occupational and safety requirements, COVID Contact Tracing, along with preparation for practical exams are also essential parts of the curriculum. 

At Wonderland C.C., we understand the value of real-world opportunities through hands-on experience.  Students of the new Culinary & Business Development program will gain the necessary skills for entry-level employment through building their skills at the new Wonderland Pizza Kitchen, to debut in 2021!

Working with  restaurateurs and members of the Radiante Esperanza Church, we are grateful to have secured restaurant grade equipment, a wood burning pizza oven, and the support of culinary professionals around the world.  We look forward to inviting community members into the space where real transactions and experiences can occur, including a COVID compliant cashier and dining area. 

Members of Wonderland C.C. will be trained by approved professionals in the restaurant and hospitality industry - both local and abroad.  Construction for the space will be completed in Q1 2020.
